Apple TV —

in the classroom

An iPad and an Apple TV are a great combination and  alternative to the traditional interactive white boards or other digital presentations systems currently in the classroom.

There are plenty of ways to display work on an iPad but using an Apple TV can be a very versatile way thanks to the Airplay technology built into your iPad.

When you connect an Apple TV to your HDTV or projector, you introduce a new way of working together with your students in the classroom. You can mirror your iPad and show pupils what you are doing to the whole class from anywhere in the classroom. You can even allow students to share their work or present a project they are working on.

While using an Apple TV with your iPad you have access to Apple textbooks, thousands of applications available form the Apple App store while at the same time access to some fantastic online resources such as Wikipedia, GeoGebra, Khan Academy and many more other great resources.
